Nicholsons Butchers is a well-established independent butcher, supplying both retail customers and a growing catering trade. Led by Kathryn, the business prides itself on quality products, professional service, and strong relationships with local catering customers.
The Challenge
As the catering side of the business grew, Kathryn needed a more professional and efficient way to produce accurate invoices and manage customer orders. Manual invoicing and fragmented systems were becoming time-consuming and did not reflect the professional image Nicholsons Butchers wanted to present to catering clients. In addition, their existing shop equipment limited efficiency at the counter and did not fully support their expanding operation.
The Solution
South Coast Systems introduced Dimension Pro as the first step, providing Nicholsons Butchers with a simple and professional way to manage catering orders and generate clear, accurate invoices directly from the system. This immediately improved efficiency and gave the business a more polished, professional approach to catering customers.
To further maximize the potential of Dimension Pro, Nicholsons Butchers then added website integration, allowing customer orders to flow directly into Dimension Pro, reducing manual input and streamlining order processing.
Finally, to complete the solution, the shop floor was upgraded with Avery Berkel XTi420 scales, fully integrated with Dimension Pro. This ensured product data, pricing, and labelling were consistent across retail, catering, and online channels. Symeyo counter ticket printers, supplied by South Coast Systems, were added to produce clear, professional counter tickets directly from the scales, improving communication and presentation at the counter.
