The Challenge
With a wide and frequently changing product range, Jenkins & Son needed to ensure that prices, product information, and legal labelling were always accurate and consistent across the counter and the shop floor. Manually updating labels and shelf prices was time-consuming and increased the risk of discrepancies between displayed prices and scale labels. They required a solution that would simplify updates, reduce errors, and maintain customer confidence.
The Solution
South Coast Systems implemented Dimension Pro, fully integrated with Avery Berkel scales and Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs). Dimension Pro now acts as the central control point for product and price management.
When a price or product update is made in Dimension Pro, the change is instantly reflected on both the scale labels and the ESLs, ensuring total consistency throughout the store. This has eliminated manual counter ticket changes, reducing pricing errors, and significantly improved efficiency.
The system also ensures full allergen and ingredient compliance, with automatic formatting and clear, professional labels that align with Jenkins & Son’s brand.
